This notice explains what personal information Axia Consultants Limited collects through this website, how it is used, and the choices you have. It is written to be read, not skimmed.
Who we are
Axia Consultants Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Our registered office is Axia House, 3D Regal Way, Watford, Hertfordshire WD24 4YJ. You can reach us at hello@axiaconsultants.co.uk or 01923 333 111.
What we collect
When you complete an enquiry form we collect the name, company, email address, phone number, area of interest and message you provide. We also record the date and time of submission and the IP address of the request for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
If you email or telephone us, we keep a record of that correspondence so that we can respond, follow up and document advice we have given.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the advice or services you have asked us about.
- To manage our relationship with you as a prospective or existing client.
- To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
- To protect this website and our systems from abuse, fraud and unauthorised access.
The legal bases we rely on are your consent, the steps necessary to enter into a contract with you, and our legitimate interests in running a professional services business.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with carefully chosen suppliers who help us operate — for example, our website host, our email provider and our CRM. Each is contractually required to protect your data and use it only on our instructions. Where any supplier processes data outside the UK or EEA, we rely on the UK Government's adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data that does not lead to an engagement is kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Records relating to active or past engagements are kept for up to seven years after the relationship ends, to meet legal and tax obligations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@axiaconsultants.co.uk. If you are unhappy with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. We use two categories on this website.
Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to function — for example, remembering your cookie preference so the banner does not reappear on every page. They are set automatically and do not require consent.
Optional analytics
When you accept optional cookies, we may load privacy-respecting analytics that help us understand which pages and articles are useful. We do not use cookies for advertising or for tracking you across other websites. If you reject optional cookies, no analytics are loaded.
You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's storage in your browser, or by emailing us at hello@axiaconsultants.co.uk.
